what it ownsConviction before capital
The argument sits next to the ticket that acts on it. Read why a thesis exists and which names it moves, then size it without leaving the page.
Leverage, without the fear
Type dollars, not contracts. Margin, effective leverage and your liquidation price update on every keystroke, so you see the size of the risk before you commit to it.
It guides the next move
Liquidation and margin stay on the card, news lands on the chart where it moved the price, and take profit and stop loss attach in one tap.
questions
Before you size up.
01What can I actually trade here?
Two things. Theses are baskets built around one idea, like humanoids or China's frontier stack; one order buys the whole basket. And the individual names inside them, which you can trade on their own. Asian listings at launch, plus the US majors people benchmark against, all from one account.
02How can I trade a name listed in Tokyo, Seoul or Shanghai?
You don't buy the share. You buy a synthetic perpetual that tracks it one for one, priced in USD and traded on exotic's own book rather than Tokyo's, so no foreign brokerage account is involved. While Tokyo is shut the contract keeps trading here on the flow it sees, so the name is open to you around the clock.
03What is an investment thesis?
An argument about where the world is going, expressed as a weighted basket of positions. A researcher writes it up, so you can read the reasoning and see every holding and its weight before you buy any of it.
04What happens when I invest in a thesis?
You open every position in the basket at once, at its current weights, sized to the amount you enter. When the author re-weights, your holdings follow. You can adjust leverage, trim a single holding, or close the whole basket at any point.
05Do I own the assets I trade?
No. Every position on exotic is a perpetual future: you hold price exposure to the name, not the share itself. Because nothing has to be custodied or transferred, Harmonic Drive, Tencent and a whole basket can sit in the same account.
06Who holds my funds?
You do. Sign in with an email or a wallet, and your funds stay in a wallet that belongs to you, not to exotic. You can withdraw at any point.
07Can I trade from anywhere?
Mostly. One account replaces a broker per country, so you never open a foreign brokerage relationship to hold a foreign name. Where exotic itself is available still depends on your local regulations.
08What is exotic built on?
pod.network, a Layer 1 purpose-built for high-performance global markets. Orders don't execute one at a time: everything submitted within an interval clears together in a single batch auction at one price, so nobody can trade ahead of you. pod's docs cover how that works.
09What are the risks?
Perps are leveraged instruments. Prices move fast, funding accrues against your position, and once it passes its maintenance margin it gets liquidated. An overseas name can also gap at its home open, which can carry a position through that level before you have a chance to act. Size accordingly.
why we built this
A thesis you believe in lives in a dozen browser tabs, behind brokers you will never open. The distance between conviction and a position is where good ideas quietly die.
So we built one surface for the whole arc: find the idea, see what it owns, size it, execute. It settles on pod.network, a Layer 1 purpose-built for high-performance global markets, where every order in an interval clears together at one fair price, in a batch auction. Nobody trades ahead of you.
